NIH Pipeline to Partnerships

Somehow, I suspect most folks won’t think of technology & product development opportunities for SBIR/STTR awardees & NIH licensees when they see Pipeline to Partnerships. Perhaps they should have considered something a bit more descriptive, such as Gravytrain to Gazillionairedom. Okay, I’m a tad tired here, but I’m also not sure what to make about the figures doing cartwheels & playing on monkeybars in the accompanying logo. Certainly they can’t be that excited about CRADAs and MTAs.

Speaking of which, Nature Biotechnology has a set of commentaries on MTAs (Material Transfer Agreements, for those of you who have never had the pleasure), including viewpoints on them as the bane of research and a practical necessity. Can’t wait for a really scintillating discussion of export controls (just say “no” to restrictive export language and/or “No Foreign Nationals” clauses) …
